CENTRE FOR ADVANCES IN RELIABILITY AND SAFETY LIMITED

Centre for Advances in Reliability and Safety Limited (CAiRS), initiated by The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, is a research centre admitted under AIR@InnoHK cluster and is established in 2020 with its operation located in the Hong Kong Science Park, New Territories, Hong Kong. The mission of CAiRS is to bridge academic and industrial counterparts to introduce and implement artificial intelligence methods and prognostic techniques to advance reliability and safety. The goal of the Centre is to improve reliability and safety of critical components and devices, products, systems and sub-systems designed, commissioned and/or manufactured by Hong Kong companies and enterprises. Marketing Officer/ Senior Marketing Officer

(Ref. No.: CAiRS-MO-Marketing/ CAiRS-SMO-Marketing)

 

Duties

The appointee will report to Management of Marketing Team for Centre for Advances in Reliability and Safety Limited, and assist in providing technical/ marketing support to the Centre to facilitate its smooth running.

 

Applicants will be required to:

 

  1. Produce promotion and publicity materials including newsletters, magazine, brochures, presentations, press releases in both Chinese and English
  2. Manage and create content for online marketing channels and social media platforms involving content development, design, animation and video production under advised by Manager
  3. Support digital project execution including social media management and writing, video production, social media / online advertising operation, live streaming, App / Web development, IT support etc.
  4. Prepare project documentations such as working schedules, checklists, etc
  5. Organize different marketing events like seminars and exhibitions
  6. Perform miscellaneous assignments and assist in any ad hoc tasks or projects.
  7. Perform any other duties as assigned by the Marketing Manager and Senior Staff of Marketing Team.

 

Qualifications

 Applicants should:

  1. A recognised Degree in Journalism, Communications, Business or other related disciplines 
  2. Minimum 2-3 years relevant working experience is preferred, but fresh graduates are welcome to apply
  3. Good written and spoken communication skills in English and Chinese/Mandarin
  4. Good attention to detail to ensure information accuracy and integrity
  5. A good team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
  6. A proactive “can-do” mentality with openness to reconcile diversified perspectives
  7. Good emotional intelligence with the ability to flex style to the changing situation
  8. Self-motivated, detail-minded and well-organized 
  9. Conversant with computer skills in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  10. With prior experience of social media management tools
  11. Ability to multitask, able to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines
  12. Immediate availability is an advantage
